This painting shows a close-up view of tree branches, while other plants and greenery blur in the background. Main focus point is a twisted tree branch, created with multiple layers of textured acrylic paints. The original idea for the painting came to me during a visit of the Oxford Botanic Garden, where I spotted a similar branch on one of the trees and shot a close-up picture that I later took as a painting inspiration when working in my studio.
